I spent most of the evening deleting the Hip-Hop Manifesto blog, recording the new Better In The Dark Theme, and moving the Hip-Hop Manifesto podcast from podomatic to blogspot. I have all the episodes hosted at archive .org now and it works as well as it ever did with those fucktards from podomatic.

I know I haven't really said much this calendar year so far but with the HHM blog gone now, this will have to be my primary outlet. So beware! lol. I'd say more but I'm dead tired so I leave you with run-on sentences and the link to the new Hip-Hop Manifesto podcast site.

Once I heard the news about Michael’s passing, I immediately thought about doing a tribute episode. But considering how unsuccessful I’ve been with trying to get out the Slaughterhouse show or Chiv’s mini-mix, it’s a good thing my good friend DJ Strizy immediately went to his turntables and did this MJ Tribute Mix in one take. I was checking out the latest episode of Better In The Dark and Tom mentioned that the James Bond podcast, For Your Ears Only had recorded their own version of the BITD Theme song. Of course I tracked it down and it’s amazing. Here it is for everyone’s enjoyment. For the full episode, check them out at the shiny link.

I realize now that the “guessing” part I added with Nas’ section was not needed since I included the episode description. lol. After going through Nas’ sophomore album we jump right into Jay’s first. Unfair? Slightly. But Illmatic and Reasonable Doubt were two different eras. This comparison is way closer then the one I just mentioned.

Chiv and I continue our first "Album Vs. Album" series. In this first installment, we put former foes Nas and Jay-Z against each other once again as we compare the albums they released in 1996. Chiv explains how he completely ignores "Feelin' It", I take Jay-Z to task over whether "22 Two's" really came off the top of his head or if he wrote it down, and we end things on a somber note as we both "Regret(s)" doing this part of the episode in the first place.
