It's Spider-Man vs. Morlun in the wreckage of Madison Square Garden! Destiny has finally caught up to our Friendly Neighborhood Webslinging Hero as the totem killer, Morlun, makes his presence known to his new prey. Will the ancient Morlun prove too much for Spider-Man or will Peter's rage push him over the edge? Check it out in Spider-Man #3.

In Captain America the Sentinel of Liberty and Nick Fury tirelessly investigate the fluke capture of the President of the United States, but will Black Racer and Fer De Lance be of any help? Unknown to them is that the Serpent Society may have unwillingly stumbled upon a conspiracy larger, deeper and deadlier than their own recent actions as a result of their kidnapping. What ramifications will this have on not just Steve and Nick, but the entire country when they catch up the Society and learn the truth?

In Exiles the reality traveller Axel Asher has assumed the role of the Timebroker and must direct the Exiles in their mission to fix the damage he created in fall through the multiverse. Their first stop takes them to a universe where the galaxy has been conquered by a savage Terran Empire and they're setting their sites on the Shi'ar as their next conquest. Can the Exiles hope to stop the efforts of an entire determined army? Are they even supposed to? Find out in the first issue of "Empire Earth".

We kick off the first half of our street initiative launch with Heroes For Hire. We continue from Amazing Adventures where Luke Cage learned of a game that put a bounty on the heads of heroes, and this round the bounty is Luke Cage! Mongoose and Joystick failed to cash in, but the round isn't over until the Black Cat sings and she intends to wail. Will she cash in, or will Flying Tiger and Cyclone trump her and take Luke Cage for themselves? Iron Fist and Prowler chip in to help, while Misty Knight and Colleen Wing find themselves in The Block with Code: BLUE.

Master of Kung-Fu continues the launch from Amazing Adventures as Shang-Chi finds himself dropped right in the middle of his old life without missing so much as a beat to compensate. Chi and his friends must uncover the reason for why the Si-Fan attacked Chi's old village home, especially when it doesn't fit their, or their master Fu Manchu's, modis operandi. What does Chi's old adversary stand to gain from breaking his pattern?

In Captain America Steve and Nick meet with the President to discuss the Commander-In-Chief's concerns about the attack on Avengers Mansion before he stands in front of a camera to address the concerns of the country. But if the Serpent Society has anything to do about it the President won't get a chance to say two words. It's up to Captain America and SHIELD to protect the most powerful leader in the world.

In Force Works we journey across dimensions to witness the events that lead to the birth of Force Works. Moonraker and his small ragtag group of heroes try to stop the Scarlet Centurian from destroying the Earth with a weapon that threatens the existance of multiple realities. Will they succeed and what does a timely intervention by the Time Variance Authority have to do with it?

Iron Man takes place a week after Tony Stark's appearance in Solo Avengers. Tony visit's the wonderous nation of Wakanda to attend and speak at a symposium of the worlds greatest scientists. It's a chance to rub elbows with colleagues such as Reed Richards and Hank Pym and talk shop. But they're not the only group that's looking forward to this symposium as a terrorist group opposed to the technological ideals of the minds gathered look to crash the party.

Tony Stark guest-stars in the first issue of Solo Avengers when he's requested by the Pentagon to stop by and investigate a mysterious new object that they found deep in the ocean trenches. An object Stark's very familair with. But Tony's presence only creates more questions than answers as he set's in motion events that will impact other heroes across time and space.

In West Coast Avengers the hastily assembled team make their assault on The Master of the World, but what hope do they have against a foe who's intellect is greater than that of the entire combined team? Will brawn prove stronger than brains? Or will their reckless abandon and sheer unrelenting force prove to be enough? When it's all said and done, win or lose, there's only one person to blame...check it out in the last chapter of "Hot Time in the City".

In Yellowjacket a series of strange events in Central Park have forced the City of New York to turn to Hank Pym to figure them out. But Hank is still reeling from the loss of his friends in the attack on Avengers Mansion, among them was his former wife Jan. Can Hank pull himself together enough to focus on the task at hand and can his new sidekick, Cassie Lang, grasp what it's like to help one of the smartest men on the Earth?

But Morlun's actions, unfortuately, don't only affect the webslinger as Flash Thompson and Betty Brant are at ground zero of their imminent battle and nobody has seen or heard from Ben Urich in a week since he investigated the strange ship that brought Morlun to New York's harbor.

Avengers Assemble takes place in a two week period around the attack on Avengers Mansion depicted in Avengers #1 and follows the actions of Tony Stark, Hank Pym, and Captain America that lead in to the launch of their brand new solo adventures! In The Defenders #2 the Wendigo's continue their invasion of New York City as Namor and Silver Surfer battle the Bandigo. Dr. Strange is confused by the herd of the mystical beasts as there's only ever been one Wendigo at any given time. So, with all this going on just how exactly does Nighthawk hope to contribute to help those that aren't excited to accept his very presence?

In Gambit #15 if Remy had thought that days after his brutal fight with his wife over the future of the Guilds he'd have one moment of peace then he's dead wrong...well, only if Bella Donna has anything to do with it. Gambit's wife hasn't let their fued go, the wounds to her still fresh and the fire in her still hot. This can only be put to rest with blood, and the consequences to Remy go far deeper than he'll ever know.

Across Europe in The Midnight Sons Michael Morbius and Blade find themselves at the mercy of others for reasons and plans that aren't entirely clear to them yet. That night, however, they're not the only men caged like mice as the suddenly human Dracula is the unwilling guest of The Prince who wishes to use the former Lord of the Vampire's current situation for personal gain. In parts unknown Modred the Mystic continues his assault on the Darkholders over the right to possess their page of the Darkhold.

In X-Force #6 the cards are on the table and all the players are present in Russia as they manuever and make bids on two canisters containing the fearsome Phalanx. It was only a matter of time before Havok found himself and his team in the middle of a free-for-all and you can be damned sure that when the shit hits the fan this deal really gets deadly.

So, what the Hell are you waiting for? Go read some fanfic for Christ's sake!!

I don’t remember when it was I announced that I supported Obama in the Presidential election. Not that it got nay news coverage but watching the arguments between Mick and Dino caused me to keep my distance. To be honest, I didn’t think America had it in them. To elect the first (half) black president. I thought McCain would be making the inaugural address today. But thanks to a brilliant campaign and a VP candidate from Alaska, Barack and Joe did it.

I wondered a few days after the election if Bush could leave office then and just get paid for the last few months he had left. It seemed like it would be forever until this day would be here.

But now, January 20th is upon us.

I’ve said before this was the first presidential election/candidate I cared about in my soon to be 26 years. I hope I do get this excited about someone again.  I know I will about Obama in 2012, but I want to feel like I do now in my lifetime again. I don’t want this to be my sole memorable presidential moment.

I’m super excited. And I know, this isn’t gonna change everything overnight. I never expected it to. I just wanted America to go in a different direction. I hope Barack is just the first piece in that new direction I hope for.

Here’s to you Barack. I’ll have a cold one (or two) in your honor later.

Yes we did.

Now Mick will yell at me. lol. I don’t mind.
