I didn't go to sleep last night.

I got so caught up redesigning the Soundvizion myspace and promoting 6's show on facebook so much that they threatened to disable my account that the time was flying by.

And it was 3 am.

I have an 8 am class on Tuesday and Thursdays. I knew that if I went to sleep, I wasn't getting up.

So I waited it out. Went to both my morning classes. Came back to house. Crashed for about an hour or so. Got up, shaved and showered. came back downtown for my last class.

I know I'm tired, but at least the little nap I got to take helped.

I really promoted hard on facebook last night. I f anyone got multiple emails, I apologize. It's just business.

So I'm posting early because my night is pretty much ocupado. I might take a shot at recording my show again.

Because I should be doing it more. I'm gonna try to have at least one post a day from now where I actually type something from here until 2009. Not too difficult a task right? Weekends don't count tho. lol.

Went to FallFest last night, which is WVU's big welcome back concert they have every year. Lupe Fiasco was here and he KILLED it. Matt and I weren't in the best spots ever but I saw the whole show thanks to the huge video screen. I studied his show a lot too. Anytime I can soak up some knowledge that's going to make my stage show better, I'll take it.

Back in school. Day 2 went fine. Now I just have to get through one more year and a few summer classes and I'm done. Really.

Music is kinda at a standstill. I haven't done a new song since I did a song for DJ Coutz' album. I redesigned my myspace tho. lol. The good news is I've never been more comfortable on stage and my live show is the best it's ever been. I really feel I'm starting to come into my own there.

Matt and I's blog is in the middle of reconstruction. I got a little too happy with trying to post every single new song that came out and I found myself dedicating 5 hours of a recent Saturday just to updating the blog with 2 weeks worth of missed tracks. So I'm reconstructing the site back into form that Matt and I originally invisioned. Johnathan also joined the site as a contributor but he has yet to contribute. lol. I have an update I need to do for Marvel Anthology. It's only two issues but anything new is always welcome. I have three issues of Robin I'm about to turn in at DCA. My first issues in over a year and a half. I'm a great writer by the way. lol.

I'm going to be redesigning B Hyphen.com again. lol. I can't find something that I truly like enough to leave it there. But I got some ideas, hopefully something good will come of it.

I also plan on continuing and finishing my Behind The Music series for The Mind's Mixtape volume II and The Thunderstorm Mixtape. Then I can do the one for volume Three. I wanted to start on volume Three but I didn't think it was right to skip two mixtapes.

I definitely haven't been my regular blogging self due to most of my time being spent on finals.  I really, really, really hope I pass them all.

Things have been crazy around here.  I would go into what some of the stuff is but I don't want to jinx anything, so I'll give an official announcement once what I'm talking about is confirmed.

I don't have finals again until Friday, so you may hear from me again before then.  I do have one more post I want to throw out there today though.

Today was good.  I got up and went to class.  Then Angel and I took Brooklyn to the vet.  Then we came home and attempted and I attempted to get Angel a nice anniversary gift but I had not get her one until a later date.  That fucking sucked.  Angel took me to lunch at Olive Garden, then we went to see Fracture.  Very good movie, go check that out.  Then I went to play ball with Matt, Jamie, and Johnathan.  Then Jamie and Jess came over and bought Angel and I some pizza.  Now I'm blogging when I need to get back to studying The Invisible Man for my quiz tomorrow.

Angel and I have been together for officially four years now.  Sweet!

My 9:30 was canceled today, so I rolled out of bed at 10 and Angel dropped me off at class at 10:28.  Just had a rousing lecture on geology (even though this may be the best geology class I've had).  Now I'm in the station chilling until Sociology, where we'll continue watching American History X..

Last night was the show at Fuel.  I got a bunch of pictures that I'll post up eventually, along with other random pictures I have from other things.  I performed (and everyone knows I'm nice), Phyr Squad performed, V Sizzle, Ill League (D-Why, Profit Money, and Holt Dizzee), Marcus Taylor performed (and he is nice!  I think you'd really like his stuff Matt), Soundvizion (Ace Beanz, Johnny Harmonic, Jathara, and Tynisha), and finally 6'6 performed.  It was the best show I've ever been a part of at Fuel but we probably lost money because Fuel's capacity allowance is crazy low after a fire marshal warning on Tuesday.  Angel and Markita hosted.  Yoshi and Maureen held down the merchandise table.  Beanz tried to be freshed than me by rocking the Olympic Jordan jersey and some new Jordan 4s (I think).  He couldn't pull it off because Pig spilled shit on his jersey.  At the end of the night, I may smell like smoke, but I'm normally clean!  And still fresh to death.  Cheah.

I went to see the Hot Dog Man after the show and got four hot dogs.  Man I love those hot dogs.

I didn't record the radio show last night as I'm still looking for a better sound recording (or stream ripping!) program.  A free one, or at least one I can make free.  So no podcast.  But don't forget to check out http://www.myspace.com/theurbandiner.

I'm going out of town this weekend and will not return until Sunday.  I'm looking forward to it.

I think I did really well on my Sociology but I feel like I missed a few answers I should have gotten on my American Lit mid-term.  I'm happy about my performance though.

Now I have Contemporary Lit and African Studies to go.

It snowed yesterday!  I thought that was freaking awesome!  Take that global warming!

Also my Sociology professor only kept us in class long enough to fill out a survey and get a rack or participation and extra credit points.  Happy birthday to me.

Did writers of the 1800s really find it necessary to make any black characters talk EXACTLY the way they sounded?
